Business Development Manager (BPO)

Salary:  Competitive Salary Dependent on Experience

Location: Home Working / On the Road (travel to London office 1-2 times per month)

Hours:   40 hours per week                                                                                   

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

They are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join their dynamic sales team.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities within the UK BPO market. You will focus on selling innovative tech-driven CX solutions to organisations seeking to enhance their contact centre operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect and identify potential clients, build and nurture a robust pipeline of opportunities, and consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Deeply understand client needs and challenges, and develop and present compelling solutions that leverage cutting-edge technology and BPO services.
  • Proactively generate leads through various channels (e.g., networking, industry events, online research) and effectively qualify leads to prioritise high-value opportunities.
  • Craft winning proposals, including financial models and implementation plans, and effectively negotiate contracts to maximise deal value.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the contact centre and BPO sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective clients, including C-suite executives.
  • Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Skills/Experience Required as a Business Development Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience within the contact centre technology or BPO industry.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and acquiring new business.
  • Strong understanding of the UK BPO market and the challenges facing contact centre operations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
